SM275 TEST CONSOLE for SM80 and SM263 MOTOR CONTROLLERS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is a simple test console that may be used to control the ON/OFF, Forward/Reverse, Fast/Slow settings on an SM80 or SM263 motor controller.
It manages the simple 2-wire resistive circuit in its basic format. It is useful as either a quick test module for the motor controllers, or if the operator console need a simple one, then it may be panel mounted and used in the field.
TWO-WIRE THROTTLE CIRCUIT
As may be noted from the above diagram, the Throttle Potentiometer, the Fwd/Rev switch, the On/Off switch are all part of a common wiring loop. This greatly minimises the connections between the controller module and the user interface or tiller.
For specific information about which exact resistance will produce a given percentage of motor drive, consult the user manual notes for the SM80 or SM263 controller.
