SM361 Rig Switch - Use vehicle vibration to automatically activate equipment

This kit is for the construction of a switching unit that will activate 12 Volt vehicle equipment whenever vehicle vibration is detected. When the vehicle is turned OFF the device starts a countdown timer that keeps the equipment operating for a pre-selected time period before it is automatically shut down.
The Rig Switch has three different levels of sensitivity to trigger timer events and five different time delay periods.

SM204 /SM205 UHF Transmitter/Receiver kits for radio Fox Hunt gaming

When assembled, this unit is a compact 2 miliwatt transmitter on the UHF frequency of 433.920 MHz. into a simple wire antenna. It transmits a distinctive 2-tone squawk at 1 second intervals. Between transmitter pulses it also has a receiver on the same frequency, so that it may be remotely stopped and started from its hidden location.
Normal range is 100-250 metres, depending upon the hiding place. An integral microprocessor allows it to respond to 1 of 16 address codes. (selectable from an internal switch). Very educational to build and operate.

This receiver kit matches the SM204 Transmitter. When assembled, the unit will allow the operator to listen for and locate the hidden transmitter via speaker or headset and a simple beam antenna.
The SM205 also includes a small transmitter that can be used to remotely activate/deactivate the matching SM204 hidden transmitter. An RF Attenuator can be turned on, allowing the operator to sniff out the transmitter for the final few metres. A great exercise in kit building and in learning how UHF radio behaves at close quarters.
(9V Battery, headset and beam antenna are not included, instructions on building the 5-element
beam antenna from very basic coat-hanger wire materials are included.)
