SM93 Battery Monitor & low voltage cutout

The SM93 Battery Monitor is intended for use with electric forklifts and vehicles operation from a 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V supply. It displays a slowly changing value 0-9 which represents battery state-of-charge. It also contains a small control relay that can be used to 'lock out' hydraulic lift control (or similar accessory) where the vehicle has been used too long with a flat battery and the battery bank integrity is at risk.

SM106 DC to DC converter, 12V 3Amp output

More than just a simple converter, this unit will change a supply voltage from 20 to 55Volts down to 12V. Heavy filtering makes it survive in harsh electric forklift environments that would destroy conventional converters. Output is clean and suitable for reversing cameras, LED lighting etc. Additional internal reinforcement assists in high-vibration environments.
The SM106 is now used widely in both Australia and New Zealand for forklift and fleet vehicles.

SM107 Forklift Seat belt interlock system

The SM107 is fitted to forklift and earthmoving equipment where the operator tends to ignore safety regulations and 'sits on' the seatbelt instead of wearing it. (This can make the company owners susceptible to being fined under workplace regulations)
The vehicle ignition is inhibited unless the Seats Switch, Seatbelt Reel and Seatbelt buckle are activated in the correct sequence and time frame. Anti-tamper circuits will know if someone tries to bypass the controls.

SM108 Direction Analyser for infrared sensors

Where an infrared beam must be placed across a driveway, doorway or factory entrance, false alarms by bugs, birds etc are a problem. This unit supports two infrared beams so that both beams must break to trip a door chime or alarm. Direction of travel is also detected, so that a different chime may be used when people enter or leave. (Your staff only need to react when people enter the building) A third output reacts if a vehicle blocks both beams. Also works with driveway hoses and mat sensors.

SM108B Door interlock system for shared En-suites

This is a unique control system where a single bathroom/En-suite is being shared between two rooms. Either occupant may enter the bathroom, which automatically locks the opposite door, ensuring privacy and security between occupants. SM136 Universal 3-Channel timer module

The SM136 is a Three Channel Timer module with three independently working timer circuits. Each timer circuit has an optically isolated Input Trigger, a Timer Adjustment control knob, a Timer Scale option link and a 30 Amp output relay. Each control knob may adjust the delay between 0 and 25 seconds or 0 and 4.2 minutes (link selectable).

SM155 Vehicle Battery Linker

The SM155 supports a second battery in motor vehicles. When the engine is running, this unit detects the voltage rise and links the batteries, so that they both charge. They auto-isolate when the engine stops, so you can flatten your second battery and still drive away. Also features pushbutton jump-start from the 2nd batt and a 90 minute timer to deactivate CB radio's etc. if the vehicle is unattended.

SM195 Roller Door/Roller Shutter controller

The SM195 module is used in conjunction with roller doors and roller shutters. On some installations there is a centre-off key switch where the operator can send a shutter Up or Down, however if they go direct from Up to Down, they can stall or short out the door motor. With the SM195 in-line with the key switch, it will make sure that the shutter has stopped moving completely before the motor direction may be changed.

SM218 Pillar Cabinet Clip (for field technicians)

This is a useful item for Telephone Company staff that must make frequent connections to pillars and cabinets in the field. The two clips are spaced for standard pillar terminals and have an independent action. Cables that connect to test phones and equipment are via easily replaceable RCA patch leads. SM267 Serial 2 x 16 character LCD display (no keypad, no mounting studs)

This is a generic 2 line 16 character, backlit LCD module. It is functionally similar to the SM264, SM265 except that it has no keypad and no 3mm mounting threads embedded within the corners of the module. This makes it more compact than the other module types, making it ideal for tight situations. It also uses a smaller microprocessor which helps to keep unit costs low.

SM271 Power Quality Analyser

The SM271 is used to check the integrity of 240VAC power capability at any given location. It measures the supply, then applies a 3.8kW load for 1 second and measures again. The voltage drop is displayed and gives the operator an indication of the quality of the power cabling and how many kw may be supported at that site. Great when dealing with motor loads operating in fringe areas, where the customer needs to be convinced that their cabling needs to be upgraded.
